Motivation and Remuneration of Employees in the Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the motivation and system of remuneration of employees in the selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issues of motivation, remuneration and employee satisfaction. The analytical part follows, which takes place in the form of semi-structured interviews with the company's employees. After evaluating the results of the interviews, measures are proposed to change the remuneration system and thus increase employee satisfaction in the company.

Strategic development plan of the ABC Braník football

Title: Strategic development plan of the ABC Braník football Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to draw up a strategic plan for the future development of the registered association ABC Braník football. Methods: Qualitative semi-structured interviews, document analysis, PEST analysis, SWOT analysis, EFE and IFE matrix and TOWS matrix. Results: From the interviews conducted with members of the management and the analysis of documents, the internal factors of ABC Braník were identified. Using PEST analysis, potential external influences on the organization under study were mapped. Subsequently, each section was rated by three respondents to determine the key factors for the final SWOT analysis. This analysis was further augmented with the TOWS matrix to provide a focus for strategic planning. In the final stage of the thesis, specific proposals and timelines were developed to address the specific target areas identified during the analysis. One glaring condition of the enlightenment and modernity is that human beings have been placed at the center of the world in majority of academic disciplines, a condition which the Social Sciences have not been spared from. In an attempt to follow in the footsteps of scholars such as Robert Orsi and his research on presence within Catholicism, the project aims to explore how we as scholars can be more accepting of and hospitable of multiple temporalities, particularly within the field of sociology. This project aims to uncover the sociological significance of subjects experiences when narrate accounts that allude to supernatural beings. I want to display how such encounters add to our understanding of people's perception of their role within society and how their behavior towards others is implicitly shaped by such beliefs.
Coolness and subcultural capital in the contemporary Prague alternative techno scene

The subject of this thesis is a qualitative sociological study that examines the contemporary Prague alternative club and rave scene as a subculture. The aim of the study is to find out how members of the subculture perceive and reflect on their subcultural identity. The theoretical part discusses several theoretical concepts related to this topic. The process by which nine informants were recruited and their interviews used as the primary source of data is described in the methodology chapter. Data for the research was collected using qualitative methods, i.e. semi-structured interviews, which were then analysed using open coding. The results suggest that several aspects influence the subcultural identity of techies - engagement in the scene and sharing of ideology are the main ones. The study could contribute to a deeper understanding of the contemporary Prague alternative techno scene and how its members shape their subcultural identity.
Anticipation sources for goalkeeper during a penalty kick in football

Title: Anticipatory sources of football goalkeepers when facing penalty kicks Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to investigate what anticipatory cues professional soccer goalkeepers perceive and take into account when facing a penalty kick. Methods: The bachelor thesis employed a qualitative research design, specifically a case study. Professional and semi-professional football goalkeepers playing in the second and third highest Czech football leagues were selected as participants. All goalkeepers are currently active players, with ages ranging from 22 to 27. The interview method was used, consisting of 16 questions and lasting approximately 20-30 minutes, during which the players reflected on key factors related to the topic of anticipation in football goalkeepers during penalty kicks. The second phase of the research involved transcription of the interviews and their analysis. Results: The bachelor thesis described individual topics that highlight additional sources of anticipation explored by football goalkeepers during penalty situations. Implementation of Ethic Education as a Supplementary Educational Subject at primary school

This PhD thesis describes the ways of implementing the supplementary educational subject of ethics education into the educational system in Czech society. The primary focus is on the teaching of prosocial behaviour at primary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the redudant repeating background of the PhD thesis topic was collected. Prosocial behaviour was defined as positive social behaviour with active participation in solving a specific life situation, where helping others is not connected with the expectation of reward. The presented methods of socialization of pupils were divided into directive and recommended non-directive methods promoting a positive classroom climate. Characteristics of moral growth in younger school-age students were viewed from several criteria. The concept of ethical education in curriculum documents in the Czech Republic and abroad was characterized. The empirical part describes qualitative research with a case study design. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, semi-structured interviews and analysis of school artefacts. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. A theoretical part that explains the terms used to implement the work and describes its theoretical basis, and a practical part in the form of written interviews with respondents from the field of media education. The theoretical part introduces the interview genre and describes its possible methods, approximates the requirements of media education contained in the framework educational programs and recommended expected outputs, and presents projects focused on media literacy. The practical part of the work consists of interviews with Přemysl Danda, PhDr. Jan Jirák Ph.D., Michal Kaderka and PhDr. Radim Wolák.
Popularity decline of the Clubhouse application in the Czech Republic and its reasons

This thesis examines the reasons for the rapid decline in popularity of the Clubhouse platform and the needs of emerging social networks to be competitive in the long term. The aim of the thesis is to use qualitative research to find out what reasons and circumstances led former users of the Clubhouse platform to use it and then abandon it, whether and under what conditions a renewal of its popularity is possible, and what respondents believe an emerging platform needs to fulfill in order to retain user attention. The theoretical part is devoted to the introduction of the Clubhouse platform, analysis of the most currently used social platforms, historical development of social networks and their influence on society. Data collection was conducted by the author through in-depth interviews with former users of the Clubhouse platform who had been actively using it for at least two months. The data collected was analysed using thematic analysis. The research results show that the rise of the Clubhouse platform was closely linked to the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic and the artificially created FOMO. Ukraine War Through the Eyes of Czech Reporters

The bachelor's thesis deals with war reporting from the war in Ukraine and its specifics through the eyes of Czech reporters who were present in the country themselves. The objective is to look at the work of journalists in this armed conflict from their viewpoint because they are the most knowledgeable on the topic and they deal with war reporting long-term and comprehensively. Based on the data obtained, the work aims to clarify what obstacles the reporters encountered during reporting and what caused them. The research - semi-structured in-depth interviews - was analyzed using the grounded theory method. In the form of interviews, the insights of six reporters who reported on the war in the period of February- August 2022 are put into context. At the end of the work, the main obstacles that journalists encountered while reporting on this war are stated, as well as the proposal of possible solutions of how they can be eliminated in the future.
